Crystal Arlington Wins Eclipse Award

Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group receives award at NWBOC Decades of Excellence II conference; Unique award program recognizes certified women business owners for outstanding achievements
Lake Park, FLA: (May 15, 2014): Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group, Lake City, PA, has been honored with a 2014 Bronze NWBOC Eclipse Triumph Award, according to Janet Harris-Lange, President, National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), a national WBE certifying organization. Crystal Arlington, President, received the award which recognizes woman business owners for outstanding leadership, ingenuity, and perseverance in successfully navigating a challenge, barrier or obstacle affecting her company.
The 2014 NWBOC Eclipse Awards honorees were announced Thursday evening, May 8, 2014, at the organization’s Decades of Excellence II awards gala at PGA National Resort and Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. During the evening’s ceremonies, Eclipse awards were presented to a diverse group of women entrepreneurs selected by an esteemed panel of judges. NWBOC created the Eclipse award program to recognize, reward and celebrate the exceptional achievements of certified women business owners, according to Harris-Lange.
Founded in 1995, National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) leads the way as the nation's first national WBE certifiers. Arlington named First Female Trailblazer for Landscape Management
Lake City, November, 2012—Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group, Inc. announced today that the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) named CEO Crystal Arlington to the elite status of Trailblazer. Trailblazers are a select group of individuals nominated by their peers for being dedicated professionals who have made significant and long-term contributions to the green industry. The program was launched in 2002 to recognize industry leaders who are willing to share their wealth of knowledge with PLANET members. Arlington is one of 118 Trailblazers who has earned this designation and she is the first female to receive the honor in the category of Landscape Management.
Crystal Arlington becomes ASCA Certified
The Accredited Snow Contractors Association (‘ASCA’) announced that Crystal Arlington achieved ASCA Certification along with several of her colleagues as the first group of snow contractors successfully completed the newly launched 10-hour education track. “The association's ASCA Certified program is the result of establishing the first ‘industry standards’ for the professional snow and ice management industry,” said ASCA Executive Director Kevin Gilbride.

Top 100 Women Owned Business Diversity Recognition awarded to Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group

The national Snow and Ice Management Association, SIMA, recently recognized Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group, Inc., for the Company’s outstanding safety during the winter season of 2009 through 20010 at its annual awards ceremony. President and CEO, Crystal Arlington was present to accept this prestigious award at the annual SIMA Symposium Awards Reception held in Providence, Rhode Island.
Planet Safety Award
The Professional Landcare Network, PLANET, recently awarded Affiliated Grounds Maintenance Group, Inc. (‘AGMG’) an excellence in safety award for 2009. This recognition is for companies who achieve no days away from work, no injuries or illnesses, and no vehicle accidents during the year. President & CEO, Crystal Arlington, was present to receive the award at PLANET’s annual event, the GIE, held in Louisville, Kentucky.
